Do it like Dylan

Foundation Goals

The foundation was created in loving memory of our brother, Dylan, whose life was marked by compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to helping others. He lived with epilepsy, and though he faced many challenges, he remained determined to make a difference, especially through his studies in Special Education.

In his honor, our mission is twofold:

First, we aim to support ongoing epilepsy research, contributing funds toward better treatments and a future cure. We also focus on advocating for epilepsy safety and awareness, working to educate communities and promote practices that protect and empower those living with epilepsy. The heart of our mission lies in empowering the next generation of educators by providing scholarships for students pursuing degrees in special education.

Through this charity, we carry forward his passion for education, advocacy, and care, creating lasting impact in the lives of others, just as he did in ours.

About Dylan

Dylan was a devoted son, beloved brother, and friend to all. In just 20 vibrant years, he touched the lives of everyone around him with his warmth, humor, and light. Dylan graduated from Eastern Regional High School in 2023 and was a rising Junior at Rowan University.

Diagnosed with epilepsy at age 12, Dylan faced life’s challenges with courage and determination. He never let epilepsy hold him back, participating in and later volunteering for epilepsy awareness programs, embodying resilience, compassion, and a spirit of service.

During his final years of high school, Dylan volunteered with the school’s special needs population in Room 17. This experience inspired him to major in Special Education with a minor in Physical Education. His dream after college was to create an Adaptive Physical Education Program at his former high school, helping students with special needs participate fully in gym and sports activities.

A lover of sports and competition, Dylan was a loyal fan of all Philadelphia teams, most recently cheering on his beloved Eagles, Superbowl LIX Champions, in New Orleans.

Above all, Dylan had a remarkable gift for making others feel seen, valued, and uplifted. He truly believed in the dignity and potential of every person, a belief that continues to inspire the work of Do It Like Dylan.
